Utilization of browpexy and blepharoplasty in functional and reconstructive cases
Abstract
Upperlid Blepharoplasty as a common procedure in many cases requires the combination with eyebrow elevation. In selective cases by mild blepharochalasis might be upper blepharoplasty alone not enough. In those cases is the transpalpebrale browlift as an additional procedure helpful. Transblepharoplasty brow lift is mostly used for lateral drooping, but can also be used in medial brow ptosis. It is a technically uncomplicated and improves the result of the upperblepharoplasty.
Biography
Darinka Hanga is a double-board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and the director of the division of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at BKH
Lienz, Austria. She is a trailblazer, having established the first facial plastic division in Europe founded by both a female surgeon and an EAFPS
fellow. She also serves as Vice-Chairwoman of the ENT, head and neck surgery department at BKH Lienz.
